Training ideas

Stripped Picasso

Putting people into groups without developing a hernia and helping the session kick off? Tell me more…

Make a set of 4cm x 20cm paper strips, with one paper strip per participant. At one of the narrow ends of each strip draw a different picture for each group, repeating it on the same number of strips as the number of people you want in that group. If you’re no Picasso, use clipart. Use pictures relevant to your topic. For fixed assets, I use different assets: land, building, machine, desk. Hold the picture end of all the strips in your hand, and ask participants to take a strip of paper and find their groups. Begin your session by asking groups about their pictures.
